DYSA
The ultimate vision of our DYSA is to be the best youth sports organization through the provision of services, education and opportunities to the youth of Delaware. The goal of DYSA is to provide a governing body at the state level to function as an administrator of the policies and procedures set forth by the National and International organizations. DYSA provides secondary insurance, risk management policies, ODP, sanctions tournaments, scholarship opportunities, and coaching education.

US Youth Soccer, the largest youth sport organization in the country, is on a mission to provide world-class support, resources and leadership, helping every member fulfill their goals on and off the field of play. US Youth Soccer registers nearly 3 million players annually. Through its programming, resources and leadership, US Youth Soccer is advancing the game for its 54 Member State Associations, 10,000 clubs and leagues and nearly 1 million administrators, coaches and volunteers. US Soccer Coaching Education
U.S. Soccer is committed to providing all coaches, from beginner to advanced, with education tailored to their experiences and the needs of their players. The Coaching License Pathway consists of a series of courses designed to meet the specific needs of a coach at every step of the way. U.S. Soccer believes education is a journey, and our goal is to provide the necessary tools, guidance, and mentorship a coach requires.
EDP Leagues
EDP Premier Divisions are for mid to high-level teams suited to a regional model. Teams are bracketed appropriately based on competitive level with travel distances being slightly longer in order to play the most suitable teams for development.EDP Championship Divisions are more localized models. The travel is less as teams compete with similar level opponents inside a smaller radius. We find that coaches, players and parents who value a good balance of appropriate competitive level and sensible travel prefer to play in this environment. Promotion and relegation take place within both levels as we look to find the optimal competition for each team.
ODP
The US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program is a national identification and development program for high-level players. The program identifies and develops youth players throughout the country to represent their state and regional associations. At the state association level, pools of players are identified in each eligible age group, and brought together as a team to develop their skill through training and competition. From the state pools and subsequent teams, players are identified for regional and national pools and teams. Delaware State ODP teams are comprised of some of the best Delaware players in various age groups.
